Three separate suicide bombers set off bombs today in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad injuring 197 and killing at least 112.  The first bomber blew themselves up in their vehicle in the parking lot of a courthouse while the second explosion went off at a temporary building used by the Finance Ministry, and a third bomber blew themselves up along with their vehicle near a training centre for judges.  The Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, has promised security ahead of general elections early in the new year and is now in the uncomfortable position of promising security for those elections even after this incident.
