During what is being referred to as a national memorial day for those students killed back in 1953 on this day defending democracy, students have taken to the streets around Tehran University once again to protest the current regime in Iran.  Clips have appeared on Youtube showing students chanting "death to the dictator" and accusing the regime of giving oil revenue that was to Basij thugs who were hired to crack down on any people participating in anti-government.

Just last week Ahmadinejad's government banned depictions of women with makeup from television broadcasts among other restrictions, possibly helping to fuel the already simmering displeasure among the very large youth constituency in the country.
