Police issue X26 TASER

The Vancouver Sun is reporting on the scathing report delivered by Paul Kennedy, chairman of the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP, whereby the Commission found that, "the version of events given to investigators by the four RCMP officers involved in the Vancouver International in-custody death of Robert Dziekanski is not deemed credible by the CPC."

The RCMP has responded by saying that they will not comment until another report is released so that they can comment on both at the same time.  RCMP representative Sgt. Tim Shields complained that it wasn't normal practice to release interim reports and reiterated that the force would comment when both reports were finally released.

You might remember the death of Mr. Dziekanski caught on tape at the Vancouver International Airport where the confused and distressed Polish Immigrant was confronted by 4 RCMP officers who wasted little time firing multiple Taser bursts eventually killing him.
