Talking Points Memo has a great article all about how the Democrats want to keep the Republican 'shadow budget' front and centre for the rest of the year.  The GOP budget proposes an end to Social Security to those 55 and under, and to turn Medicare into a voucher system with no mechanism to increase the value of the voucher as inflation rises, or help with long term care patients.

Democrats are excited to debate the GOP budget to get members of Congress on the record, so that voters in November know where everyone stands on the issues.
