President Obama Promotes Clean Energy Jobs In Georgia
President Obama proposed a rebate on energy efficient home products, most of which he said are made in the United States, for home owners who upgrade their houses. The proposal includes up to a $1500 rebate on renovations on parts of a home, or up to $3000 when upgrading the entire home. Interestingly, the President said that a deal was in place which would allow someone upgrading their home to go to their local building supply store and receive their rebate instantly, without having to fill out tons of forms and wait weeks for the money.
Promoting green jobs have been a hallmark of this Presidency, having already given several speeches trying to grow the industry and help fill the gap in jobs that most fear have disappeared forever.
