President Barack Obama followed a long line of Presidents and threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Washington Nationals home opener.  There's not much to this story other than it's a tradition stretching back a hundred years to President William Howard Taft who threw out the first pitch for the Washington Senators in 1910, followed by a succession of Presidents who threw out the first pitch to various teams on opening day.
