TS: Ex-StatsCan Chief Says He Quit To Protect Agency's Credibility
The former head of Statistics Canada says he resigned because Industry
Minister Tony Clement had compromised the agency's integrity over how to
conduct the census.
"I came to the conclusion that I cannot be the head of an agency whose reputation has suffered," Munir Sheikh said during a sometimes emotional Commons committee hearing.
